Clean Renewable Energy:  In 2021, I started an initiative called 100% Winterville.  The goal is the just and equitable conversion of the City of Winterville to 100% clean renewable energy.

Bike and Pedestrian Safety and Access: We need to make Winterville a walkable and bikeable community with safe sidewalks, crosswalks and multi-use trails where feasible. 

Sustainable Growth and Jobs:  We need sustainable growth that allows us to maintain the small town charm that makes Winterville special and provides job opportunities that pay a living wage.  We also need to find ways to encourage and promote affordable housing options as we grow.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity:  Everyone should feel welcome in Winterville regardless of their race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, sexual identity, or socioeconomic status, and everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed.
